I’m Tony Tenorio, owner of Square Foot Roofing. I’ve spent more than three decades working in the roofing industry, and that experience has taught me that every roof needs to be evaluated on its own condition and construction.
The shingles are only one part of a complete roofing system. Decking, flashing, valleys, ventilation, roof penetrations, underlayment, and other components can all affect how a replacement should be performed.
I want homeowners to understand the condition of their roof before making a major investment. If a problem is uncovered after the existing roofing is removed, I explain what was found and what should be addressed rather than installing new materials over an underlying issue.
